A welcome addition to the West Coast of America, The Future Perfect originally started out in Brooklyn in 2003. Featuring unique designs and objects from local and international designers, I am particularly fond of this Bubble Chandelier by lighting designer Lindsey Adelman. Her aesthetic is second to none combining both organic shapes and architechtural elements with incredible attention to detail. For this and more visit their online store.

Searching for that ideal piece of art to hang in your living room? Perhaps you should pay a visit to Koskela in Rosebery, Sydney. Internationally acclaimed photographer, Hugh Stewart has a series of photographic prints of single stem arrangements (my favourite) hung in their gallery space. An ideal solution to enliven a bare wall or dreary bedroom.
Racing through the stores of Surry Hills in Sydney last week, I breezed passed the doorway of MCM House and was forced to stand still in admiration. These turned hardwood beaded pendant lights are the collaborative works of 'how we create' and Coco Reynolds of Marz Designs. These custom made pieces are certainly eye catching!
