ceramics

well contained by Glen Proebstel

I was born and raised in New Zealand and let me tell you, we smeared butter on almost everything. If it wasn't a thick piece of toast, then it was between two cookies (don't knock it till you try it) What better way to keep this dose of dairy than in a ceramic container like the one shown here by Danish ceramicist Mette Duedahl.

Certainly something that you would want to see on the breakfast table!

It's times like these when I wish I had taken a ceramics class. Nothing gets my attention more than a gorgeous, shapely, hand thrown vessel and the hand crafting from Brooklyn designer Clair Catillaz, certainly raises an eyebrow!

With a penchant for small batch productions, her pieces evoke a very organic and earthy sensibility with finishes and glazes that are perfectly, natural.
